Kamoli Khujandi Monument

The Kamoli Khujandi Monument, located in the city of Khujand (Hucend), Tajikistan, is dedicated to the great 14th-century Persian-Tajik poet Kamoli Khujandi (Kamal Khujandī). The poet is particularly renowned for his lyrical ghazals (odes); although he was born in Khujand, he spent most of his life and is buried in Tabriz (Iran). The monument is the focal point of the Kamoli Khujandi Park (Culture and Recreation Park), which is named after the poet and is situated in the city center.
