National Library of Tajikistan

The National Library of Tajikistan, located in Dushanbe, was inaugurated in 2012. The nine-story building is named after the poet Abulqosim Firdavsi. The library holds over 3 million books, manuscripts, and archival materials. Designed to meet UNESCO standards, it offers facilities for research, digital access, and cultural events. Open to students, scholars, and the public, it plays a vital role in preserving and promoting Tajikistan’s written heritage.
