A.S. Pushkin Literature Museum

The A.S. Pushkin Literature Museum, located in the city of Oral (Uralsk), Kazakhstan, is a cultural institution dedicated to the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin’s visit in 1833. The museum was inaugurated in 2006 as part of the "Year of Pushkin" declared in Kazakhstan. It is housed in a historic building constructed in the 1830s, known as the "Ataman’s House." Pushkin stayed in this house for three days during his 1833 visit. The museum's collection features documents, photographs, and manuscripts regarding the poet's life, his works, and his journey through Oral. The building itself is preserved as an architectural monument.
